They were both outside as my dad heaved out all of the furniture out of the back of his truck. The older brother offered help, which my father graciously agreed. Dear All,

I'm going away for a while and I thought I ought to let you know. I will be travelling alone to somewhere far away from my home, just to clear my mind and arrange my scattered feelings. I will not disclose the location of my stay, as I wish to be alone. I have quit my job and I am cutting off all contact with every friend, family member and colleague during my trip. I will not be using the Internet or phone, so please do not try to contact me, it will be a waste of your time. I do apologise for this sudden disappearance but I would not leave unless it was of an utmost importance.

I think if we were all honest with ourselves, we ALL feel that way once in a while. And every so often, the itch to just GO is almost unbearable. I've been having this itch for awhile now - just take my paycheck, fill up the tank, point the car in a direction and drive until I run out of gas. Stay in that place for awhile (maybe get a small little job), gas up again and GO. The feeling gets stronger and stronger until I write for a bit. Then it builds back up. Something tells me I'll be going sometime in the next year...
